Gift Card Guard is just a web app for now. But don’t worry—we’re fully optimized for mobile! You can access the app from your phone with a smooth, user-friendly experience. This approach helps us keep costs low, maximizes flexibility, and avoids delays related to the App Store or Play Store.

2. Can I add store credit? Coupons? Vouchers? 🛍️

Absolutely. While the app is designed for gift cards, feel free to get creative with it. We’ve seen users add store credit, coupons to the local pizza place, vouchers for oil changes, and more.

3. Is my balance automatically updated? đź’˛

Not quite. We provide a free balance check every time you upload a new gift card. After that, you’ll need to update the balance and mark cards as “used” on your own. However, if you’re interested in automated balance checks, please email us at info@giftcardguard.com and we can share some options.

4. Can I pay from my phone? 🤳

Most likely. If your gift card record includes a clear photo of the barcode, you should be able to scan it at checkout; if not, the cashier may need to enter the number manually. For online shopping, you can easily copy and paste your card number and PIN for quick payment.

Very! Keeping your gift cards secure is our top priority. We use leading encryption to store your data, and multi-factor authentication for our admin accounts. A third-party Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) has even tested our app for vulnerabilities, and we passed with flying colors.
